A TOBAGO ARTIST
Nazim Baksh

Nazim was born in Trinidad, but moved to Tobago at age six. He grew up on the Windward side and in Scarborough, which afforded him the opportunity to observe the all-round culture of Tobago, which is reflected in his paintings.
A self-taught artist he paints mainly in acrylics, though skilful in watercolours and oils; he also designs and makes jewellery.
His paintings are on display in galleries in Tobago and Trinidad, and regularly appear in this publication.

He is currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology at The University of the West Indies in Trinidad.
